French Onion Pasta

Ingredients
  • 2 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 box Veggiecraft Rotini
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions
  1. Heat the butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
  2. Add the sliced onions and salt and saute, stirring occasionally, for 35-45 minutes until they are browned and caramelized.
  3. Add in the garlic and worcestershire and stir, scraping up the brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
  4. Pour in the broth and pasta and stir. Cook over medium heat for 6 minutes, stirring often, until the pasta is almost cooked.
  5. Stir in the green peas and cheese.
  6. Serve topped with fresh parsley and enjoy!
